EKRANAS is located in one of the Baltic States – Lithuania, in the fifth largest city – Panevezys.
 
The company occupies area of 50 ha at the outskirts of the town, and is in a very favourable geographical situation:
 
Distance to airport: Vilnius – 140 km, Kaunas – 130 km, Siauliai – 80 km, Ryga (Latvia) – 130 km.
 
To the seaport: Klaipeda – 270 km, Ryga (Latvia) – 130 km.
 
To the railway station: - 3 km (a railway branch exists which is owned by the company).

Divisions

Three large production divisions operate in the 50 ha of the company’s territory – metal preparation, glass component production and TV tube (kinescope) assembling shops as well as the services attending the latter.
 
Glass shop produces main parts of the tube – panels and funnels. There are 780 employees working in the subdivision.
 
Assembling shop is dealing with electronic systems and metal parts for the tube production. It assembles the final product, colour picture TV tube. There are 2300 employees working in the division.
