Superiors of AB EKRANAS look with responsibility to their company as the Panevėžys enterprise that has the biggest number of employees and actively participates in the social life of the city.

Altruist, charitable activities i.e. the support of health, culture, sport and education programs are one of the main tasks of public policy of AB EKRANAS.

The international youth art festivals “WE are coming!”, organized by the charity and support fund shareholders of AB EKRANAS A. Giz and E.Žvybas that took place in Panevėžys on June 5th 2004 and on June 4th 2005 , revealed that projects for youth creativity training are very important to the participants as well as to the observers.

One of the main supporters of festival “WE are coming!” also was the AB EKRANAS, by paying special attention to the education of youth, organizing of meaningful free time, by making conditions for the young people to improve their abilities. AB EKRANAS in such way seeks to train and upbring gifted specialists able to work in modern conditions by applying innovation work methods.

In such way efforts are made to create the conditions for the people who think in innovatory way to find proper environment to develop and improve themselves in native city thus at least partially preventing the flow of intellectual resources to another regions of republic and foreign countries.

For many years AB EKRANAS finances the studies of young people at Kaunas University of Technology, Vilnius University, supports participation of schoolchildren in the international competitions.

An idea, related to the enrichment of work environment of young professionals at the AB EKRANAS, thanks to the several energetic specialists, was born in September, 2004. Several young specialists decided to establish a club of young professionals and managers, the activities of which shall motivate its members to work for the AB EKRANAS despite the efforts of the company’s management to develop loyalty of the young people to the company.

A group of 11 young specialists representing the AB EKRANAS attended a Constituent Assembly on 22 10 2004 and decided to establish an Association of young specialists which shall be known as Ekranas Junior Chamber and hereinafter shall be referred to as EJC by a unanimous vote.

Special attention is paid by the company to EKRANAS football club that competes for the title of the champions of Lithuania, supports the aspiration of Panevėžys sportsmen to compete well in the European competitions.

AB EKRANAS does not forget the artists of the city either. The small art gallery has been inviting viewers in the administrative premises of the company for three years. During the time of its existence 22 exhibitions were organized where artists of Panevėžys and other cities displayed their creations.

The company financed the publishing of the albums “Dovana” and "PF" of photographers from Panevėžys.

The constant attention and care is given to the AB EKRANAS collective. The qualification of the workers is increased out of the means of the company, workers participate in pleasure and rest journeys, and receive pleasant surprises prepared by the administration.
