Innovations in production

Permanent improvement of constructions and production technologies of produced tubes, presentation of new tubes models to the consumers, implanting new technologies in production process – it is a foundation which ensures a product of a good quality.

In order to renew and to improve production process the sum of 115 million litas was invested in the year of 2004.

The specialists of the company work together with the specialists of electronics industry enterprises from USA, France, Germany, Japan and other countries which are known all over the world.

Owing to great and successful investments to glass production, glass components are begun to produce from glass mass of new chemical composition.

Trying to accommodate rationally a tube of 21’’ diagonal with totally flat screen A51EKK, which is produced by licence of TOSHIBA company to the European market, there was created a modification of this tube A51EKS. One of its peculiarityies – a tube which is produced by using a shade mask of AK (steel).

By the foundation of AK (steel) shade mask, there was created a new 15’’ tube with totally flat screen A36EKM.

To increase the productivity of tubes production and to ensure an acceptable quality, the processes are automated, a new conception of tubes striping lines are implanted.

Informative technologies

AB company EKRANAS is one of the leaders among industry enterprises in the sphere of informative technologies and telecommunications.

This company was the first in Lithuania, which implanted a system finance possessing and stock-taking SAP R/3.  In the beginning of 2004 it went on to a new SAP R/3 Enterprise version.  It was started to implant a new production planning modulus and SAP data storage.

Specialists of the company implanted computerized control systems in many production processes. They created the systems of production process identification and human resource control.

In the company an administrative-informative system LOTUS NOTES is operating.

The Company started implementation of a business analytical package BUSINESS OBJECTS.
