Ekranas AB received the acknowledgement from European Commission concerning dumping complaint
On 8th of November the representative of Ekranas AB , International Relations and Trade Policy company ( IRTP) , received the acknowledgement from European Commission Directorate General for Trade ( reference No. B/1/ES D (2005) 14372 concerning dumping complaint for color picture tubes originating in Brazil, The People’s Republic of China, Malaysia, South Korea and Thailand.
On behalf of two big European color picture tubes producers, Tesla Ecimex from Czech Republic and Ekranas AB , the dumping request had been prepared by IRTP company and lodged to Commission on November 2, 2005.
In the meantime the positive tendency appears in TV market: the demand for color picture tubes increased noticeably and the prices of the product alsoincreased in the European market.
Ekranas AB received almost 50% more orders from it’s clients for the fourth quarter 2005 compared with the third quarter 2005.
